Rent-A-Chick Program
Our Rent-A-Chick program allows children and kids of all ages to learn about and care for a live animal without the long-term commitment.
10 am, 12 pm or 2 pm. There are limited number of spots available for each class. Please know your schedule before you sign up for class. This is the time you will need to attend so you can take your chicks home with you. Once you are registered, please do not request to change times or come another day to pick up your chicks. You may lose your spot in the program and will not receive your deposit back.
When you come to attend class on March 14th, 2026, you will need to pay the $85 Rental/Program Fee. This fee includes: 2 baby chicks, waterer, feeder container, chick feed, box, bedding, brooder lamp, participation certificate and care instruction/chick class. Chicks are returned on March 27th or 28th between 10 am and 5 pm at the Farm Market.
Your $55 deposit will be processed for return on April 1, 2026, upon return of all equipment and chicks to the Market March 27th or 28th. If you are planning on keeping the chicks you will receive $35 of your deposit back. Please let us know if you are planning on keeping your chicks at the start of the program. $55 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in the program. A $85 program fee will be collected on the day you receive the chicks at the time you sign up for.
